Bodega Puerta del Abra was created in the pursuit of achieving the impossible, all while exploring the unknown and moving away from traditional wine-growing regions.
VINEYARDS
El Vallecito our estate was chosen for its distinctive attributes: an uncommon type of soil with limestone plates, a unique microclimate created by the mountains and the wind, and a close proximity to the sea that provides singular features.
WINERY
We are a winery focused on the production of high end wines in limited batches. We conduct multiple research trials in both cellar and vineyard, allowing us to approach this unexplored terroir and continue to uncover the best version of each variety.
We make high end wines that show off the unique qualities of the terroir they come from Balcarce. We challenge assumptions through technical excellence and traditions that respect both the land and the people.
